JOIN US IN OTTAWA ON NOVEMBER 29 - 1:00 PM / Ottawa / City Hall

November 29, Ottawa. On the eve of the Paris Climate Summit, let’s show our new government that a 100% clean and renewable economy is 100% possible.

The transition to a 100% clean energy economy by 2050 is not only necessary to solve the climate crisis, it’s 100% possible. It’s a vision for a healthy, diverse economy with low-carbon jobs, that respects Indigenous rights, and stops growing the tar sands and building new pipelines. It will lead to a safer, more sustainable, and more just future, for everyone.

It’s time the politics of climate action caught up with the science of what’s necessary.

Event Details (stay tuned for further details)

Time: 1:00 PM

March itinerary: To be determined

Location:

Ottawa City Hall

Marion Dewar Plaza

110 Laurier Avenue West

Ottawa, ON

Wear green: Think green! Green is the symbol of renewable energy, so we are asking marchers to dress in green: clothing, posters, facepaint – anything and everything goes. We also encourage marchers to dress up as the climate solution that inspires you, like a windmill, solar panel, or electric car. Get creative! Build a renewable energy float, paint some banners, or turn yourself into a walking piece of art.
