Emily grew up in the Kootenay region of BC and have always felt a strong connection to her surroundings. Emily is happiest outdoors, passionate about conservation, the environment and all things that make our planet such a wonderful place to live! She is currently studying Fish and Wildlife biology student at the University of Northern British Columbia. In 2019 she graduated from the Recreation, Fish, and Wildlife program at Selkirk College. During her time at Selkirk she was the recipient of the Student Sustainability award, the Sustainability Ambassador and a part of the Selkirk College Environment Club! Her personal projects of include working on a documentary about the history, connection and ecosystems that make up the Columbia River, all while travelling the river by bike more information on that can be found at astillriver.ca.
